We celebrated Ethan's 5th birthday at the Bay Area Discovery Museum with some of his friends from preschool. (Jack, Atticus, Chase, Henry and Bruno) It was an amazing day. Rawley and I got to spend a whole afternoon with Ethan and his buddies. It was no nice to be able to focus on Ethan. I think he loved having our full attention. Sharing mommy/daddy time is hard with two sisters!
We had an adventure. Picking up all of the boys and fitting them into our car was a little tricky. Their conversations on the way there and back were hilarious. We heard lots of giggling, lots of questions and of course they couldn't get enough of the silly talk. We went from room to room playing and discovering the exhibits. We had snacks in a cave while we waited for the rain to stop then had cupcakes and opened presents. The boys ran around all over and had a fantastic time with each other. I asked Ethan what his favorite part of the day was and he said, "everything." I love that boy!
This awesome Transformer cake was at Grandma's house. We were supposed to celebrate his actual birthday at Grandma's house but it got delayed a week because we got to Utah late. We got into a car accident the day before we were supposed to leave so we had to wait 3 more days until we could leave with a rental car. Then we spent Christmas with the Eav side of our family and finally made it to Grandma's to have the long awaited Transformer cake. Thank you Grandma for being so patient!
