Rawley's mom came out to visit for a weekend. The kids love love love Grandma. They love her so much that when they cry and can't get their way with us, they will cry for Grandma, even when she's over 800 miles away. We enjoyed going to the gym, park, library and dinner at our favorite pizza place. The highlight for the kids was taking Grandma to their swim team practice.
It just so happened that Grandma was here over my birthday weekend. Rawley surprised me with a celebration in our favorite city without our favorite ninos. We left early Saturday morning and had breakfast at our favorite place on Chestnut. We have so many great memories on that street. Then we had a couples stone massage on Bush Street. We had tickets to a Giants game after our massages but it was one of the rainiest days of the year. So instead, we watched a movie at the Embarcadero. We stayed at the J.W. downtown and went back and took a nap before we went on our next adventure. I got to do a little shopping and got a birthday handbag (not shown in picture). Our last stop was a nice dinner on the Embarcadero. Needless to say, it was an absolutely perfect birthday spent with my favorite person in the whole world.
